Management development
Attracting good management is just the start.
We are dedicated to the development of our hotel management teams, because we know that that this impacts directly on the success of our own business and on the hotels we manage.
We build up their skills by involving them in working parties and projects, as well as specialised off-job training.
A variety of personality profiling tools are used to assess individuals and their role in their teams so that we can understand their development needs, as well as their potential contribution to the business.
We provide software tools to assist hotel managers manage their staff, as well as giving them access to management information.
Development programmes
We operate development programmes at three levels to maximise the impact of these job roles on the business by aligning their skills and operating performances. These are:
- supervisory
- department manager
- hotel operations manager
All learning is applied back in the workplace and can be mapped across into industry recognised qualifications.
Accredited management training
CML is accredited with Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) for the delivery of the Level II – Introductory Certificate in Team Leading qualification.
Three of our in-house management development courses are recognised by ILM (Institute of Leadership & Management) for their content and delivery. Delegates attending these courses can achieve ILM certification.
