Effective and efficient management is key to the successful delivery of capital expenditure projects.
Project management provides the best route to:
- delivering on time and to budget
- limiting disruption
- reducing health and safety risk
Our involvement in any project is to review every aspect of a project continually, to ensure it delivers value for the client.
We work with design-led, design and build or managed approaches.
We ensure that all relevant regulations (construction design management - CDM, risk assessment, health and safety) are adhered to and that the Joint Construction Tribunal (JCT) contract is used as the basis for the hotel owner’s terms and conditions.
The following are agreed and implemented.
- The decision as to insurance - i.e. joint named or other - is reviewed by the hotel owner’s insurance agent.
- At tendering, a schedule of general rates is requested to cover any variances.
- A fair value for delays is agreed and contracted.
- Prior to project commencement, dilapidations surveys with photographs are carried out.
- Status reports to our clients are supplied with suitable frequency.
